No More Training Wheels!

A few weeks ago, Jack decided it was time to ride his bike without training wheels. After a couple tries, he was cruising around with no problem at all. I was very impressed at how quickly he was able to do it. It did however, take a couple days to figure out how the brakes worked. ha! We have really put the box of band-aids to use as well =) (gotta love all those little scrapes and scuffs)

It seems just in this past month my little boy has grown up so much. From riding the bike without training wheels, to loosing a tooth, to turning 6 in a couple days, and of course starting big school tomorrow...wow...it just does not seem possible. Ok, I must stop before I get too emotional =)

A Visit From The Tooth Fairy

For the last couple weeks, Jack has had a loose tooth. He has been so excited as each day it would get more loose. Finally, over the weekend, the tooth came out! Luckily it was very loose and just fell right out with a couple tugs on it. Jack did not cry at all and did not even realize that it had fallen out until Jason showed it to him.
Jason had found the tooth fairy pillow that he used as a little boy and gave it to Jack to use for his tooth pillow (how sweet is that?!?) Jack placed the tooth in the pillow and went to sleep very quickly in anticipation of what the tooth fairy would bring for his 1st tooth.

It's My Birthday!

Today is my birthday! =)



I have a fun day ahead of me...

Lunch date with my hubby at one of our favorite Cajun restaurants.

Then off to an afternoon getting a massage and being pampered.
