Memorial Day

Today is Memorial Day.

A day set aside for us to honor those brave men and women who paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

No matter what your plans are for today, please take the time remember their sacrifices.

My hard working hubby returned home this week after completing the transportation warrant officer basic course.  It has been a very busy 5 1/2 months, but the time actually went fast (probably because of how busy we stayed)

The kids and I were not able to attend the graduation ceremonies, which made me quite sad, but some people did take pictures of J so I wanted to share them here on the blog because I am so very proud of him. 

Hope everyone has a nice Memorial Day weekend, but please remember to honor those for whom we have this holiday, those who paid the ultimate price.  God Bless our troops!

Happy Military Spouse Appreciation Day!

Today is.....

 

The Friday before Mother's Day is recognized as Military Spouse Appreciation Day.

 

I have been a proud military spouse for over 11 years.  My hubby is in the Army Reserves.  He has completed 3 deployments and countless schools and trainings.  He is currently away, but in less than two weeks our family will be complete again (for a little while).  Boy, I am so ready to have him home!

 

 

 

 

So, to all the lovely Military Spouses:

 

Find a military spouse and give them a big 'ol hug today....they will appreciate it!
