Spring Break and our last day as a family of 4!

The kids are out of school this week on spring break.  It has been such a cold week, but that's ok because I am enjoying this time I get to spend with them.

As soon as we found out that we were expecting and knew the due date, I have been joking that it would sure be nice to deliver during spring break.  That way the kids were out of school and I did not have to worry with all that.  Well, my wish came true...I will be induced at the end of this week because this little guy just does not seem to want to join our crazy world ( I must make a nice, warm home for him)

Since I am delivering this week, I knew I wanted to do some fun things with the kids around town.  I really wanted to have some one on one time with them before all the craziness of bringing a new baby home sets in.

Here are a few of the things we have managed to get into this week:

We went on a picnic to our local park.  We are fortunate to have some great parks around our area.  So we took us a picnic to one of them and enjoyed the nice cool day.  The kids played, fed ducks, and we walked around the walk.  Of course I had ulterior motives for wanting to walk that much, but it did not do any good.

Here is a picture of us on our way to the park:

Here are the kids playing at the park:

The next day, we picked up my mom (Meme) and she joined us for lunch and the movies.  It was a VERY cold and windy day so there was no playing outside...luckily there are some kid friendly movies on this week.  We had a good time and enjoyed spending the day with Meme.

Here we are on our way to the movies:

Today, J is off work so we can enjoy our last day being a family of 4.  No telling what we are going to get into.  I did not make any plans because I just wanted us to enjoy the day being lazy or doing whatever.

Here is a picture of us running errands last night:

And of course we have to take a crazy face picture too:

Well, that is all for today.  I am making everyone breakfast in bed before we start our day.  The next post from me (or Jason depending how I feel) will be to introduce our new addition.

Have a great day!
