Surprise At School

Before I share the pictures and video of Jason arriving at the house (all decorated up) I thought I would share the pictures and video of us surprising Jack at school.

The kids did not know that daddy was home.  We wanted it to be a surprise to them.  We had hoped all along that it would work out for us to surprise Jack while he was still at school.  Luckily, it did work out. :)

I had arranged everything with Jackson's teacher beforehand so she along with our families were in on the secret.  Our family met us at the school and also arranged for a tv crew to meet us there and film the whole event.

Jack was SO SURPRISED!  It was perfect!  None of us had a dry eye...not even the teachers who stood in the hallway to watch.

Below are the pictures of us at the school.
My brother Chase, my dad, me, Jason, and my mother in law:

Jack's teacher called him to the front of the room...he still has no idea what is going on:

I am crying. How absolutely wonderful. I can't believe I am just now getting to see this video. Jackson is so handsome.

I have to tell you an amazing story. Last Sunday I went to my BFF's son's confirmation. Each child being confirmed had a sponsor read their Bible verse. When it was time for one of the girls in the class to be confirmed, it got quiet. All of a sudden the screen lit up and her Daddy who is in the military started reading her verse. Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." I just cried. Come to find out I knew the girls uncle through football. Such a small world. The video almost did not happen. It was such a God thing.

I love you my friend and am so happy for you!
