Go To Recipes...Crock Pot Roast
It has been a while since I have participated in the Kelly's Korner, Show Us Your Life. This week's theme is Your Go To Dinner Recipe...well I have a lot of these so this is right up my alley. =) It is hard to narrow down to just one recipe, but I chose the one that I use a lot when I am entertaining because it goes a long way.
Crock Pot Roast
Roast (size depends on how many you are feeding)
1 can Beef Stock
1 can cream of celery soup
diced, New Potatoes (amount depends on how many people you are feeding)
2 cans Carrots
1 can sliced Mushrooms
1 pkg Onion Soup Mix
1 small bottle Steak Sauce
oil
salt
pepper
Heat oil in saucepan. Salt and pepper the roast. Brown (not cook) roast on both sides. Place in crock pot. Mix beef stock, cream of celery soup, onion soup mix, and steak sauce together. Pour over Roast. Put potatoes, carrots, and mushrooms in crock pot. Cook on low about 6-8 hours, until meat is cooked.
Serve with green beans, Cole slaw, and dinner rolls.
Enjoy! Head on over to Kelly's Korner to find some more, yummy recipes! =)
