More Game Day Snacking

Good Saturday morning everyone! I am super excited to share something with you....

I have a GUEST blogger today! Today's blog and recipes will be brought to you by none other than JASON! 8) Before I turn the blog over to him, I wanted to forewarn you that he does not use measurements...just guess...you know "until it tastes right"
Enjoy Jason's recipes (because we LOVE them here) and be sure to show him some love in the comments section! 8)

So with out further ado...here is Jason's recipes...oh and of course WAR EAGLE!

Bacon Wrapped Deer Tenderloin
Deer tenderloin, cubed
Bacon, cut in half
Brown sugar
Allegro Wild Game marinade

Marinate Deer Tenderloin in the wild game marinade. Wrap bacon around the tenderloin and secure with a toothpick. Sprinkle brown sugar on top of the wrapped tenderloin. (Or you can go ahead and caramelize the brown sugar and pour over the tenderloin…just do which ever you would prefer) Place tenderloins on a pan with holes or a fish basket so that the tenderloins will not fall through the grill. Place into a prepared smoker. Cook on medium heat. Do Not Over Cook!!! You will be able to tell when the tenderloins are done. Serve with Alabama football.

Low Country Boil
Fresh shrimp (usually 2-3 lbs depending on # served)
Smoked Sausage
New Potatoes
Onions
Corn on the Cob
Lemons
2-3 bags of crab boil
Water

You will need a large stock pot for making this recipe.
Cut smoked sausage. Cut new potatoes (do not peel) into quarters. Cut onions. Cut lemons in half.
Fill large stock pot with water and bring to a boil. Put crab boil in. Place sausage, new potatoes, onions, corn, and lemons in pot. Allow to cook until all ingredients are done. Turn off stove and place shrimp in the pot at the last minute. Do Not Overcook Shrimp! Serve with Cole slaw and cornbread.

Picture of final results...if outside just throw down some newspaper on a table and serve it right there.

ROLL TIDE!
Jason

Wow, great recipes! Need more guy (guest) bloggers! The deer tenderloin looks great! That boil looks deadly ;) THink I might have to try that one.

I don't measure either, I always 'eyeball' it, or do everything 'to taste'. True chefs!
