MilSpouses Rock! Blog Carnival Day 8
Hello and Welcome to the final day of the Milspouses Rock! Blog Carnival.
I have really enjoyed this carnival...I have met some wonderful other milspouses and been able to share things that maybe some of my readers did not know. =)
Today our topic is "Where do you find your strength?"
There are times when I feel really "strong" When everything seems to be in order and moving along as it should...and then there are those times when it is all so overwhelming and I can not help but feel weak and overwhelmed. So how do I find strength when I am weak, overwhelmed, and feeling like I can not cope? I find my strength in Christ Alone. God, because He loves us with a perfect love will lead us and strengthen us. My problems are not a suprise to Him-He knew them before I did and He also knows the outcome. All He wants from me is to lean on Him and He promises His prescence and strength with me and for me everywhere I go.
Here are some versus on strength that I would like to leave you with. To read where other milspouses find there strength, please click HERE
I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
Psalm 121:1-3
It is God who arms me with strength
and makes my way perfect.
You armed me with strength for battle;
you made my adversaries bow at my feet.
Psalm 18:32, 39
The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace.
Psalm 29:11
The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.
The LORD is the strength of his people,
a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.
Psalm 28:7-8
God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear,
though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.
Selah
Psalm 46: 1-3
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness
and the power and the glory
and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all.
Wealth and honor come from you;
you are the ruler of all things
. In your hands are strength and power
to exalt and give strength to all.
Now, our God, we give you thanks,
and praise your glorious name.
1 Chr 29:11

Fabulous!
Loved it! Thank you for sharing those verses!
I love this, if only I remembered where to turn when I am down instead of picking up the phone.
